This has happened to me a dozen times since I've owned mine. It's a piece of junk. But to fix it, you'll have to reformat it from 'recovery mode'. Here's a repost of a solution that worked for me:
Open My Computer.
Switch Sansa to Hold (top switch toward headphone jack).
Hold record button and connect to computer thru USB cable.
The player should say Recovery Mode and USB connected.
In My Computer you should see 16MB FORMAT J: (or another drive letter)
Double click the drive
Drop down the file menu and create a new folder
Name that folder: sansa.fmt
Disconnect the USB (either end) and Sansa will format and reset system.
The data in the Sansa m200 device might be corrupted. Formatting the device should solve the issue.
WARNING: Reformatting will erase all data in your player.
STEP 1 - Connect the device to the computer 1. Remove the battery from the player’s battery compartment. 2. Put the hold/lock switch to lock. 3. Plug in your device to the computer.
STEP 2 - Format the device 1. Double-click My Computer. 2. Right-click on the player, which might show up as a Removable Drive, select Format. 3. Click Start. 4. Click OK when a "Format Complete" dialog appears. 5. Click Close.
i have the same problem dude. I played my PS3 pretty regularly for about 6 months, then one day it started freezing. I have been searching for a solution ever since, but all Ive been able to find out is that i can send it to Sony, with $150, and they will fix it and give me a ninety day warranty. But other than that i can't help you. If you found a better way, let me know please.
