You don't need the disc. Buy Corel's latest videostudio x2 for editing. To extract the video files from camera just plug into computer with USB cable and search the camera for files.
If the camera has a USB-connection function, turn it on. Now the camera will be able to see at the computer. Be sure you have installed all required drivers for the camera at the computer. //David
Another solution is to make sure you are using the usb cable that came with the camera. For some reason, if I use any other, the computer won't recognize the camera. It's the one with the magnet. In fact, mine has two magnets on it.
