Oven door won't stay tightly shut

No where in the manual does it show how to adjust or tighten the hinges, I took the door off and reinstalled so they are in correct position?

Oven door hinges are not adjustable, assuming you have fitted the door back correctly, and it is still not closing properly, then the only solution is to replace the door hinges.

You need to find the tension springs, not the hinges.

My Wolrd Pool Double Oven Door will not close all

same problem, I tried to adjust the level and tip the oven back, but that didn't work either.
Two options exist, change the hinges, or close the door with a hammer handle between the door and oven. Place the handle down low by hinge, then push the door closed very firmly to pull the hinge outward a bit.

Door doesn't close tightly and sometimes the light stays on. Can I tighten the springs?

One of both of the springs are probably off or broken. Slide it out and inspect the hinges and springs which are at the bottom of the door. The springs hook to the hinge and the base of the oven farther back. You may have to remove the side cover.

Can't get the door back on the oven

Yes, take a pair of pliers to pullout the hinges. They are springloaded and it seems hard but they are designed to keep the door shut tight.

Kenmore oven model# 790.79383401 door not closing

Do the hinges come out with the door or does the door slip off the hinges? If the hinges are on the door then there is no adjustment if not there should be an adjustment but you may have to pull the range out to properly adjust if it is a built in range. Also check the door lock.

Bosch HBL745A Oven door

My husband just figured this out.

- Follow Door removal instruction from the manual.
- There is a screw at the end of the hinge that can be adjusted.
- Adjust the screw to desired height.
- Secure lock nut.
