Hi Bob, you've going to need to get the back off and get some voltage readings, start with the power supply, go by the legend on the board, let me know what you find, and I'll give you some advice on what to test next
Replace the main board. That board controls all the symptoms you're having. You can get the Vizo Main Board 3642-0182-0150 thats the board for your model from www.tvcircuitboards.com it has a 6 month warranty
As this remote was meant for a specific TV it will not work with your Vizo TV. Sorry for the bad news. Universal remotes can be cheap though and an easy fix.
Tries tv unplug, replug it back like about an hour later. For the tv to do a resetting itself back to the factory setting.Used ur tv remote.Go into the tv menu goto Audio Setting.Go down to do a resetting. Now,tv will work as Mono or Surround sound by the tv stations incomming broadcasting tv signal aloud.
We turn off the TV. Turned it back on using the tv turner remote that comes with the set, we push the HDMI1 mode button immediately! Must do before it goes to Deep Sleep mode. You should not use RGB mode as this will cause the problem to repeat. (Vizo HD 50") Keep trying if doesn't work the first time. You have to be ready and quick to get the mode HDMI1.
look on the back of the remote to program it. just know that even though it will turn on and off there ar other freq that will work (just comtinue pressing ch up or which ever button you use to search) you'll find that 5 or so freq will work but maybe 2 of those will use all of the functions needed to use you tv.
