Use the Picture, Zoom, or Aspect button on the TV remoteWhat setting change do I need to make to get a - 2_bing.gif to cycle through the available screen sizes. You may also be able to set screen size in a Setup-Picture (or Video) menu.

Screen won't return to full size.

Have you tried to re-set the Aspect Ratio from either the remote control or going into the Menu setting & changing the picture size?
This is the settings for changing different size of screen formats eg 16:9

Cannot get full screen picture

Full screen resolution depends on the source signal that you feed to your LCD TV. Most often, the signal come in 16:9 screen size, which sometimes show big black portion on both top and bottom of screen. To maximizes screen display, you can adjust the screen size of your LCD TV through remote control, this features are available in most LCD TV. you will have the option to choose Full Screen Mode, 16:9 screen resolution or many others to choose from (most case about 3 to 4 screen size.

I just purchased my Dad the 32" Insignia 720 for Christmas. He just called and said he can't format it for widescreen. He has Dish Network, any suggestions?

Hello! If he's not getting a clear picture or a full picture he may need an HD receiver. If it's just not a full picture go through the tv menus and adjust the picture size you can call insignia as well their number is: 8774674289

Insignia 32" 720p Flat-Panel LCD HDTV - High-Gloss Black Picture is too big for screen ,cut off all around, top, bottom and sides. Can't read things on screen, heads cut off etc. I've gone through...

try checking the menu setting on your Dish Network, there may be a television format in that menu set up, if it is only when a dvd player is playing, then check the format on that, so on so forth... that is one place to start, check if it is local (TV) or if it is from attached component ( Dish dvr/ dvd etc). also refer to your owner's manual.. if all else fails, call customer service @ insignia

Trying to change tv format on my dynex 32 LCD

You are looking for a picture size, format or screen size button on the remote control to solve the issue. If it connected to a HD cable or satellite box then they also have format or picture size settings.

Insignia 32" NS 32 q09

Since you don't mention how you're receiving the signal, I'm assuming you use a cable box or computer. Adjust the output settings (e.g. 720p, 1080p) on the box and then adjust your TV settings. If it's a computer, you'll need to adjust the video card settings to a compatible aspect ratio (e.g. 1366x768) for the desktop to display properly on the TV. Details can be found in the owner's manual.

What are the best picture settings for a ln32b360 samsung lcd tv.

Well, picture settings for this tv, is basically personal preference, size of the room, distance you will be from the tv, ect. even the lighting in the room. Changing any of these factors can change what resolution you wanna put your tv into. As well wide or full screen is a personal preference. The best thing to do would be simply play with the display settings and see what works the best for you. Telling you exact settings may not work for you.
