Best picture settings for toshiba regza 42RV500e

It will depend on the viewing preference of yours'. Set contrast to 70%, Brightness to 40% color to 30% might be good.

First thing to do is see if this happens when watching a DVD or something connected via the audio and video jacks---My best guess aside from that is the main board that processes all signal and controls the picture on the panel.

The best setting really vary from person to person. However, on an average, the below settings seemed to be best :-

Picture mode: Custom
Contrast: 30
Brightness: 30
Color: 50
Tint: 0
Sharpness: 50
Color Temp.: Cool
Pixel Orbiter: Every 1 minutes

32inch lcd toshiba regza the screen has a yellow tint

This is a catastrophic and known failure of older Toshiba sets, not much you can do, try to take out a retrospective extended warranty, wait a month and claim, good luck.

Go in ur tv menu go "Picture"go down to reset.Press it,will go back to Factory setting.The colors should be back to factory setting.Not,than ur tv Main Tuner signal board is the cause must change to fix.

It sounds like you have a driver board problem. I suggest getting in touch with Toshiba and see if they will have it diagnosed/repaired under warranty. If not, they can give you the name and number of an authorized repair center who will know best how to diagnose and repair the problem with those units.

Try to adjust your display properties and choose the color depth mode by sliding it up or down and choose the best color mode (Better to set the on the TRUE COLOR (Highest)). Apply and reboot!

could be tiling if it is like frozen squares it is probably a cable system problen not the tv
