My radio wont play anymore. think it is because i take it in and out of my work truck and my personal truck. is there anything i can do i have a lifetime membership with sirius thank Mike

stereo sound place or go to a forum
on the internet that folks like yourself
play around with those vehicle changes

From my perspective, I fail to see how you
could add to or change anything on today's
vehicles, because of the computer systems
the can bus & data stream,& security on radios

I would forget it

Anything to do with sound will have to be a clean new install,
stand alone from the vehicles systems

I would have a dealer fix your factory system, then add
something you want ---NOT-- tied to the factory options

Try this if the display seems stuck on the same station: If you take off the front of the radio (don't forget 2 screws in back!) you will notice a set of black and red wires running from the 2 AA backup batteries to the digital display circuit board. The wires plug into the board with a little white plug. If you unplug this the display will fade to nothing. If you plug it back in it will display an unset digital clock format. This seems to reset the radio, after which it should work.

what my suggestion is to use a testlight and check all fuses. I have found in my experience that even though the owners manual says that fues 13 is for the radio, sometimes its also 12, because it powers up a different circuit..........this would be the safest and best bet, if you dont own a test light, you can buy one really cheap at the local auto store

they jsut dont make them to last anymore, technology is advancing faster and faster we do need stuff to work that long anymore

This may be a case of replacing the laser lens. If your console is out of warranty, take it to your local Game Stop, or somewhere that does Sony repair. it sound as if you have a short in you radio and if it was me i would get me a nice one with a cd and installation kit and that way you know what wire is which and you would be a lot happier so give that a try

You are absolutely right about bose! And GM Delco as well. Try this. I've had 50/50 results. Need 2 peole. One at the nattery, the other at the cd player. Turn the key on, radio will power up. with the radi powered up,disconnect the negative battery cable from veicle. Wait a few minutes. Now this step might be cumbersome. While holding stereo in your hand, push the eject button and HOLD while the other person re-connects the negative power cable back up. Ths will do a reset on the stereo and you may get lucky!

Don't put anymore cd' in it. Your only other option if you want that CD bad enough is to disassemble the case of the stereo and manually move the mechanism to eject it. Hope this helps

dunno, i had this prob to, pop just took off the battery cover and battery, then put it back in, works like it never did before!

depending on when you got it, i think there is a 30 day warranty but phone the store you purchased it at to make sure.

try reformating in. Srry for the basic response, but, just try it
