Help!! My maytag neptune MAH6700AWW is having trouble.

I keep getting NF and LE errors in between my wash cycle and rinse, and the rinse and spin. I have noticed that when my washer is filling that there is water coming out my drain house.... is my washer not filling, what do i do? Help Please

The fix was simple i just had to lift my drain hose off the floor. it had become disconnected from the back of the washer and was lying on the floor. I didn't realize that by it lying on the floor it didn't provide the proper back pressure to keep the water in while filling the tub. this was the NF error. as for the LE error. i haven't gotten it since i took off my cold water hose connection and ran hot water into it to losen the dirt/rust that was caked into the screen that is located in it. My washer is running like it is brand new again.

cdmcdm5, did you ever figure out the solution to this problem? I currently have same issue. Have checked for obstructions multiple times and also ended up replacing pump. Still have same ND (no drain) code issue.

Maytag neptune TL
The machine needs to cut you a break;

“”i have a maytag neptune TL and there are several things wrong with it...1. I can't wash small loads it will stop at the spin cycle and flash dc””

This issue is a clutch issue see this post to DIY the repair.

“”it will wash fine on regular loads until it comes to spin cycle again and it will stop and flash nf””

This one is a little confusing the “nf” error is a No water fill error code. Check these two post for support regarding water inlet restriction or valve not opening properly.

“”my fabric softener dispenser will not let the softener out neither will the bleach dispenser””

See this fabric softer post for support. The fabric softener dispenser may be clogged or the water dispenser valves feeding both dispensers may not be operating properly. The Service Manual on page 16 “Board Output Test” will give you support to turn on the Fabric Softener Valve and Bleach valve. See if you hear the valves operate in Service Mode”

My method may seem a little confusion for viewing water flow to the dispensers. This issue could be associated to the nf error you are receiving, restricted water flow (inlet screen clog) or cold water valve not working properly.

Can you see water in the drum ?,No water = no action Check water supply

If there is water in the drum does it drain out at some point.

Sequence = Fill, Agitate, Heat, Wash, Drain, Spin etc.

If it fills then it may be a belt has snapped and the drum cannot turn , need to take the covers off to look.

Remove power before taking covers off !!!!

If the belt is OK then it may be the heater which has gone open circuit, try a cold wash or a rinse cycle to test that.

Machine keeps tumbling after wash cycle is completed.
Make sure that the replacement R11 is in fact connected to pins 1 & 2 of the Q6 triac. If the copper trace on the backside is open on either leg of the R11 to the Q6 then the wax motor will stay energized and that will cause the tumbling after the wash cycle.

Check your lid switch, some machines stay running when you add clothes when it agitates, but will shut off if you lift the lid in rinse and spin, lid switch may be broken.

Sounds like the 'Wash water' is not pumping out fully,You need to drain the water by lowering the empty hose into a bowl & check the pump for a blockage ( if the pump is an 'electric one' check that it is working). TURN POWER OFF FIRST
