I had to buy a new in car charger for my navman s30,but when i plug it in to the sat nav & cigerette socket it keeps showing a computer, usb & navman picture.

  • Turn the Navman off by holding the power button in the upper left corner of the device until the screen goes blank.
  • Plug the unit into its charger using the USB port on the bottom of the unit. The battery indicator light next to the power switch should turn orange, indicating that the device is charging. Once the light has turned green the charge is complete. If the light does not turn on, verify that the car charger is plugged into a working outlet.

Navman F10 not starting

Apparently, according to the Navman helpdesk you have to open NavDesk and from the menu, go to Tools and then Recover Keys .
I tried this on my S80 and I got an error, (E000050) which I was then told I had to send the unit back for repairs. This is my worst purchase ever. I'm on my third unit and have had nothing but trouble.

Charging socket on navman pin 570 has come out

These sockets are on sale if you google enough. Ebay seller totalviews for example. Check its the right socket and be prepared for very small presise soldering. when you open the case, take great care not to break/dismantle the rocker switch that protrudes as it has minute elements in it. If charging is a problem but the socket appears sound,m check the plug that goes into it and ensure the springs go in and out to hold it in place.F4therchristmas

Navman icn520

check the battery switch on the back. you will need a pen. Mine does the same thing. I believe this switch has to be set to ON for it to work. At least mine wont turn on unless the switch is turned on.

NAVMAN 570 PIN

maybe there is a flat or stuffed lithium battery or battery charging circuit in the pin 570.
fix:
leave unit to charge for 24 h
if the battery still dosnt charge because it is over discharged, then you may be able to push some charge in it after the battery is unplugged, after opening the case, and removing the circuit board
