press the top button on the right until the radio comes on, then set the alarm time.

I have the same clock, I was perplexed at the lack of instructions in the box, but managed to find it at the timex audo site

Press & hold the time set button so it starts flashing.

While it is flashing press the Reverse or Forward buttons to set time. Hold down the button for faster setting. Be sure correct AM or PM time is shown. (For some odd reason this clock does not allow you to set the hour; you have to increment minutes until the hour changes to the one you want). Hey, I didn't design it. Otherwise, it's a very nice clock.

I'm not sure if this will assist all who have this issue, but I noticed this morning when my radio would not come on (after about two hours of pressing every button on the thing), that the Off/Reset button was slightly jammed at the top of the button. I popped it out and my radio came right back on. That may explain why, each time this has happened, it finally comes on after hitting the button several times, it pops the button back out so the radio works again... Hope this helps!

press the button on the top with the clock icon that says (2). the indicator that says "sounds" should disappear.

quickly press alarm 1 button to deactivate it when the radio and everyday or mon-fri icons are gone the alarm is deactivated. do the same for alarm 2 button and the sd1-4 or buz icons disappear.
