Hi, have you activated the Reverse colours function? Go to Settings / General / Accessibility / Invert Colours
did you drop it by any chance? My boy dropped his and we got the dreaded black screen one time - then we gave it the hard smack treatment on the backside to release the jammed accelerometer - this worked perfectly the 1st time it happened, the 2nd time he dropped it we reverted to strange black and white colours, the smacking continued, and the colours came back.
It could be the print setting on your computer.
If you're using Windows, with your document open, go to File > Properties/Preferences. In the Print Setup tab, make sure to select "Print using all available ink" in the Ink Use section.
On Mac you can select Color in Print Setting in any expanded print dialog.
Most likely it's graphic card problem, but also may be monitor itself. First, check the signal by connecting to TV (if yours has a PC input), then replace card if that shows the same.
Dodge tool should be on your toolbar- its like a black circle with a little line coming down diagonally from it- shares a button with sponge and burn so may be hidden behind them. Left hold click if it is that should bring up a little drop down that will let you select the tool you need.
Other than that, a much much better way to dodge/burn is to use layers- go to layers (top of the screen beside file, edit, etc) select new->layer- this should open a box. Now- set the colour drop down to none Mode drop down- Set to soft light, feel free to experiment with hard light etc Tick the soft light neutral colour (50%grey) box- should be at the bottom of the box. Set opacity to somewhere between 5 and 10 %. Click OK
This puts a new layer over your image, now you can use the paint brush- set your colours to black and white, you use white to dodge black to burn. Though this may sound complicated, it soon becomes second nature once your used to it and gives you alot more control of your dodging and burning- leaving you with a much more 'natural' image. Once you get the hang of it you can add new layers (using the same process i went through above) to slowly build up your dodging and burning- changing the opacity level in the layer box to a higher setting means you put more paint on the image- your burning will be darker, dodging lighter. Using mulitple layers also allows you to take away a dodge layer if you think you have gone to far- and saves you stepping backward when you mess up- its almost like painting.
Well - it's fixed - but no thanks to anything I did. It's just all of a sudden working fine again. I tried three different dvd's the other night, and all were black and white. But last night the same dvd's were back to colour. Who knows?
But thanks for asking.

That sounds like your video card has gone back into VGA mode, 16 colours and a screen resolution of 640 x 480.
Go into the display settings and try setting the resolution to something like 1024 x 768 and the colour to 32 bit (16 million colours).
If the adjustment cannot be made, it is likely you have a graphics card driver issue. Find out what graphics card or chip you have and download a new driver from the manufacturers website.
your 360 is playing in black and white beacause as per my view i think that you doesn't have a graphic card so buy it and then see your 360 will be able to come in colour or else connect to your pc and then go in settings in control panel and ten set it to 256 colours i am sure now onwards you wil get your games in colour and enoy them .
