Electric Wall heater programmable thermostat

First of all most home thermostats operate on 24volts. If you want to have one that directly turns the 240 volt power on and off you need to get a special 240V line voltage thermostat. How many wires come out of your heater? Most 240v circuits have three wires. A white wire for the common and two black or black red wires that are +120 volts and negative 120 volts. That's why a 240 volt plug has 3 prongs instead of two. If you look at the wiring diagram that comes with the thermostat it should give you an idea of how to hook the wires up. In your particular case though, I think I would try making friends with an electrician.

I need a diagram on abaseboard heater

The common usually goes staight to the unit, and the other wire, goes through the thermostat, and the ground wire hooks directly to the chasis of the heater.
If it is a 120 Volt, the white wire should be the common, and the black runs through the thermostat.
If it is a 220 Volt, it doesn't matter which wire goes through the thermostat.

I have a Dimplex in wall heater model 690221900 120 volt 1500 watt. Their is a 110 volt feed line (black, white and ground wire)coming in to the heater housing as well their is a two wire thermostat...

Well, for your wiring, there's nothing wrong with it, So, I think there's two way to find out which ones is wrong, first:
Install your heater without thermostat first, is it working, does the breaker blowing!!!.
If No, then your thermostat is the cause, but if Yes, then,
second:
Try install it with the new breaker with 10 A minimum, you must replace the breaker with new ones. When it's OK, then try install the thermostat too.

Hope it works!!!

Cub cadet lt1040. won't start. new battery. making a cliking sound when you try to start it.

I had the same problem the starter was the problem, found the stater will engage by itself not sure why but think it could be the wireing, or a swich. also check the solenoide it could be bad if the starter is bad.

Cadet wall mount and thermostat

your wiring is all wrong. for a 240 heater a 20/20 tandem breaker will not work with a 240 heater. you need a 20 amp two pole breaker. the two wires at the heater need to be connected to the line. you probably have two black wires at the heater. one connects to the white romex which should be taped black, and the other romex black connects to the other black wire. at the panel one white goes to one side of the breaker and the black to the other. the bare ground goes to the neutral bar.

Basboard heater installation

if the heater is 120 volt or 240 volt its really pretty easy. at either end is a cover. remove the cover and you'll see a wirenut or maybe just two wires. one side has an integral thermostat. connect your supply to the two wires on the thermostat. connect the other end in your breaker box with the appropriate sized circuit breaker. wire size feeding it will depend on its current draw. how many watts is the heater? 1500 watts will draw 6.25 amps at 240 volts so you can use 14 ga wire. 2000 watts will draw 8.3 at 240 volts - so 14 ga is still ok. 2500 watts at 240 draws 10.41 amps. 3000 watts draws 12.5 amps at this stage I'd use 12 gauge on a 20 amp breaker.
