Pfaff Tiptronic model 2030 LCD display panel went dark, no display. Now lamp burns hot. Told by local service shop that panel needed to be replace to correct lamp issue. Need replacement lcd panel.

To change the bulb in the Pfaff Tiptronic 2030, you need the bulb remover that was in the original accessory package. Push the bulb remover up into the sewing machine (at the bulb) as far as it will go. Rotate the tool (and the bulb) one-half rotation counter-clockwise. Bring the tool and the bulb down and remove the bulb from the remover tool. To put the new bulb back in, put it into the diagonal holder until the pins engage. Push the bulb up into the lamp holder of sewing machine as far as it will go. Rotate the bulb one-half rotation clockwise. Remove the bulb changer tool. The bulb should remain in the sewing machine. There is a fuse in the the base plate
that has probably blown. It is soldered in and needs to be fixed by a Pfaff dealer on someone with access to the fuse. If you have the work done, make sure they replace a certain reisitor on the base plate at the same time to prevent this from happening again (per Paff). Sorry for the inconvenience, hope you are back to enjoying your Pfaff machine real soon.

The front panel will have to be ordered from a Pfaff dealer, should set you back about $150-$300 plus labor...

I found three Pfaff Tiptronic machines on eBay, but not your exact model, but one of the models listed may be acceptable. When I searched, there was a 6720, 2030, and another 6720.
The 2030 was $299. When you click on the link, you may get a different selection because it will search for what is listed at the time you click on this link:
