Hello, In Purchasing Epson's CX 5400, CX4600, & CX7400 and more, I found out that Epson does not like Generic Printer Cartridges. That sounds like your problem. You do not mention if you are using Generic or Genuine. These printers have a chip, that will detect if it is Generic or Genunie.
Also in Purchasing the Brother's . Color that should be Yellow, will turn out Green, or Red. etc. All Generic Cartridges, will print lines thru the words, and also do a mix match with the colors. That's what the Companies do., so they can keep selling the ink cartridges.
Some Printers, are able to use Generic, but you have to fill them up yourself and I heard, quite MESSY.
So I learned, thru trial and error, that you must use the ORIGINAL Genuine Cartridges for the PRINTERS.
There are some people who would say, that they use Generic with no problem, I have had alot of problems with Generic. This is the only advice I can give you. If you find this helpful, pls rate me.
Thanks and Good Luck :0)
Hi Friend,
Firstly clean the head of cartridge & printer.if you have cleaned the head, that's the best way to get the color out.... did you also clean the head on the cartridge holder where you insert the cartridges?
If you useing Refill kits (cartrige) please replace it with a NEW one printer cartridge becouse refill cartridge is not every time good.
Thanks,
