I have a Singer Futura CE-250 Sewing and Embroidery Machine. I don't have a CD to install the software on my computer. Am I able to download the software?

Do you have computers at work? You must have friends with a Desktop computer? Give them the disc and a USB memory stick. That is the long way around the problem, but you can download it online from the Singer Website :>D

I have recently purchsed a toshiba a500 03p with vista home premium, how do i roll back to xp? I have xp rollback discs

In order to switch from Vista to XP, you will need to basically erase Vista and install XP.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean when you say you have XP rollback discs but, you will need an actual Windows XP installation disc and product key.

First make sure the BIOS in your pc is configured so that the first boot device is your cd /dvd drive.

Insert the XP cd in the cd /dvd drive and reboot the pc. Your pc should then boot from the cd and enter the text based portion of the XP setup program.

Press the F8 key to accept the licensing agreement and then wait for the setup program to load the files it will need to continue the installation of XP.

Once the necessary files are loaded the setup program will check for an existing installation of Windows and will identify the partition where Vista is installed and ask where you want to install XP.

This is where you want to pay close attention to the information provided on the screen. What you want to do is to delete the partition where Vista is installed and then create a new partition. This will remove Vista from your pc.

After the new partition has been created, you can then install XP onto it. The setup program will copy the files needed for XP to operate and will reboot your pc so it can enter the graphical portion of the setup program.

The graphical portion of the setup program is where you'll enter the product key and then the installation will continue installing the necessary files until it get finished.

Once completed, Vista will be gone and XP will be your operating system.

Unable to load autocad 97 on windows vista

I don't believe Autocad will work at all on Windows Vista.

The only other solution I can think of is to download Virtual Box from http://www.virtualbox.org/

You will need to have an XP cd to install, and basically you will be installing an XP virtual machine, at which time you can then install Autocad 97 onto that virtual machine.

Hope this helps!

HOW TO INSTALL XP IN VISTA OS OF LAPTOP HP PAVILIION

Hi there.
The only way you can install XP on a Vista machine is to install "virtual XP" onto Vista using Virtual PC 2007.
Here is a site that will take you through the procedure step-by-step and gives links to download Virtual PC and install it onto the machine.
Please be aware that some drivers may not work whilst using XP when you have it installed.

Installing windows xp

You cannot install Windows XP over WIndows Vista. Microsoft has put a lock on the Vista software and will not allow you to downgrade to a lower software. The only way you can do it is to wipe your hard drive completely clean first with a disk deleting software or with the command "fdisk" at the DOS prompt. However, this is dangerous and I do not recommend it unless you have someone professionally trained to do it. It will wipe everything off of your disk and then you can load Windows XP.

Easy CD & DVD Burning and Windows Vista

You may need to run the setup directly from the CD rather than letting the autorun start and running it from there. Open up "My Computer" and go to the CD drive, right click on it and select "Explore" find the "Setup" file, and right click on that, select "Run as Adminstrator".
