Select print calibration page. once its printed put it on the scanner (match up the blue arrow on the printed sheet to the yellow arrow on the scanner bed.) and press ok. the sheet willl be scanned and your printer will be calobrated.

If the installtion was done with the printer connected then it can cause errors. as the printer driver software can have errors while being installed. So to reset remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and then connect the Printer ONLY WHEN PROMPTED, to be detected as a new hardware as it will be installed. Now check the printer properties to see the ink levels. Activate head cleaning before a test is taken. Use the printed sheet to be placed on the scanner as it will calibrate and align. Now the printer is ready for use. If this wont help please do not tamper but seek WARRANTY SERVICE FROM YOUR DEALER.
A calibration sheet it what tells the printer how colors should actually look, and how they should print out. These should print out as you set your printer to calibrate itself. You place that sheet on the printer's glass (scanner).
You may have a faulty printhead. I just purchased a new one and had a time with it. Awful color in picture. Kodak sent me a new printhead and new ink tanks. Now it works great. You may have printhead trouble also, contact Kodak for help.
Print out a calibration sheet, either from the menu, or press photo and cancel at the same time. Your calibration sheet is probably missing a color. You should have black, blue, yellow, and magenta(pink). If you're missing any of these colors, your printhead is clogged. Try doing a printhead cleaning. Print another calibration sheet, if the color is still missing, you need a new printhead. Call Kodak.
hmm..no blue, eh? that means that one of your print head cartidge lines is clogged. Sounds like time for a new cartridge tray, which you can access through www.kodak.com
If your product is still within the warranty period from KOdak then you can call them up for some step by step troubleshooting to help you with your problem and as well they can replace the printer if defective.
