Is this a desktop or a laptop? If this is a desktop easiest cheapest solution buy new power supply. If this is a laptop you need to purchase a new ac jack adoptor, and take it to an electronics shop or bring / send it to a repair facility and what will happen is an IT Professional (such as myself) will carefully disassemble the laptop and then remover the motherboard entirely placing it in a static case. Then we will transport it to an sub-contractor generally an electronics specialist who will de-solder the jack and remove it placing new solder on the board and then soldering the new jack into place. Once completed the board will be transported back and the laptop will completely be re-assembled and you will be looking at around a $180 - $265 dollar repair bill. Do this quite often as with some expensive laptops this is very cost effective. Visit us on the web @ http://www.davispcrepair.com or contact me personally @ [email protected]

My acer aspire 4730Z is not turning ON....battery is down....when am connecting dh charger pin to dh lap, dh green indicator of dh charger goes on blinking. Lap top is like completely dead dat even dh...

Here below are possible causes and troubleshooting steps of laptop that can't power on, hope it may help:
Possible causes:

1. AC adapter failure.
2. Power jack failure.
3. Motherboard failure.

Possible troubleshooting steps and repair solutions:
1. Test the AC adapter with a digital multimeter. It's possible that you have a failed AC adapter. If you don't have a multimeter, test your laptop with another known good AC adapter.

2.It's possible that power jack (socket where you plug the AC adapter) is broken. Remove the motherboard and take a closer look at the power jack. In some cases you can fix the jack by resoldering it on the motherboard. In other cases you have to replace the jack with a new one. Using a multimeter, test if the power goes to the motherboard through the jack.

3. If replacing the AC power adapter and jack on the motherboard doesn't help, most likely you have a bad motherboard. Replace the motherboard.

DV4 won't charge

Maybe it's the charger or dc jack that was broken. Just test with a known working adapter connected, see if it charges, if yes, then your charger is broken, while if not, then you have to resoldered your dc power jack.

My pin on my laptop is lose how can i fix it and my laptop dont turn on

Do you mean the pin where the charger (AC adapter) connects to? If so, this is often difficult to fix. This is possibly why the laptop won't turn on. Can't connect the charger since the connector pin is broken, so no way to charge the battery. This can sometimes be repaired by disassembling the laptop and soldering the connector back into place. If the connector itself is broken then some sort of hack job solution using generic parts canimplemented but the end result will not be very pretty. The bill for such repair jobs usually starts at around $100 & goes up in price.

Acer laptop Aspire 7000 does not power on

If the laptop does not power up (not a slight sign of power flowing through it) even if the AC adapter is plugged into it, here are the possibilities:

1. You AC adapter might be broken and need to be replaced. Some AC adapters have a light on it to signify that there's power flowing from the power outlet to the power cable.

2. If your AC adapter is working fine, maybe your power supply is broken. If your laptop is with in warranty, have Acer replace it. If not, find a repair center who does.

Acer 3680 ac pin broken

That's really not advisable. At our shop we do socket repairs, I suggest finding someone local who specialises in laptops and asking them to replace it. You can get the sockets on e-bay, etc, if you wish to try it at home, though I don't advise it.

Don't forget to take static safety precautions!
