We have installed the child seat rear facing into a 2003 jeep liberty. I would appear from the instructions that only the foot end of the car seat is attached to the car allowing the head to end of the...

Good Evening

The horizontal or lap section of the three point seatbelt should be placed over the foot end of the carseat and held in place under the two blue clips either side of the seat. The diagonal section of the seatbelt should go around the back of the carseat through the blue clip at the back.

Ensure the seatbelt is tensioned fully to prevent excessive movement.

If you're still not satisfied it is fitted correctly do not use it and return it to your retailer with proof of purchase and ask them to show you how to fit it properly.

Can a baby-start remi car seat be fitted in the car with a lap strap

Stores had recalled a Remi 2 Travel Basic Car Seat as a precautionary measure. There is a risk that the car seat may not provide the required restraint if the seat straps can be removed and then rethreaded. However this seat should strap in with the lap strap.

How to fit carry cot to car

I assume you are referring to the Matrix Pro Car Seat that lays flat? You can fit this in two different ways. To fit it sitting upright, make sure it is in the most upright position and facing the back of the car. Pass the lap belt underneath the car seat itself, through the blue catches, then plug it in. The long part of the seat belt goes around the back of the car seat through the blue catch nearest you. Pull it all really tight and it should be more secure. To fit the car seat laying flat, this depends on your car. It needs to use two 3 point seat belts. 2 point seat belts don't work. Plug in both seat belts, and pull the lap belt part through the silver catch on both side. Pull as tight as you can. To make car seat fitting more secure, try placing a slip mat like the Sunshine Kids Grip It or Super Mat underneath to hold it in place. These are all crash tested and safe.

Infant car seat

Hi,

Although I do not know this seat, if it is a UK model you should have blue stickers located where the belt will go. Typically the European seats do fit as you suggest, lap belt over the childs legs (pull firm at that point) then the should belt over and behind babys head (pull firm again at that point). Bear in mind that the seat does not have to be rock solid, but the weight of baby will make this feel more secure and remember that if there should be any kind of impact, the seat belt is designed to lock off, hence how this works.

I hope this helps.

3d pistachio car seat

You never put a car seat where the baby is facing you. It is very unsafe. The car seat is made to where the baby is facing the seat.
