take it back to the store and explain to them what's happening, they should take the phone of you and send it away to get fixed. they would proberly just give you a new phone, and it will proberly just work fine.
i have a sony ericsson C902 and i had that same problem plus it the screen always went wierd and it didnt hold charge, so i took it back to the store and explaned what was wrong and they gave me a new one after they sent it back. hope this helps

thers summat wrong wit da ribbon cable u cant get dat fixed if u did it wud cost quite a bit happened to my phone
