An sms when sent to my Nokia N73 does not come

Few days back we reviewed Advanced Device Locks that can be used to lock SMS and other applications in a Symbian mobile phone . But ADL was a shareware mobile software and you need to pay after few days of use .Here is another application called Active SMS Lock that can lock SMS messages in Nokia and other Symbian devices . go into settings and security settings, define a 5 digit password, this will block anyone form viewing your messages. good for keeoing out the nosey girlfriends/boyfriends, husbands wifes etc etc

my nokia n73 card is locked i want this unlock tell me if u can......

Peter, go to menu-settings-personal-tones. Set a ring tone for message alert.

Hey buddy,

It seems that your phone has been storing a lot many sms messages. This would cause the phone to react slowly when you either send or recieve sms's. Make sure to clear out sms from the Inbox and sent folder. you may save the required sms by creating a folder.

You need to set your SMS inbox to be stored on the memory card.

To do this:

1. Go to the messages in main menu
2. Hit options
3. Choose settings
4. Choose "others"
5. Then choose Memory card as storage device

You are getting the message because the images are being sent to the phone memory.

It seems your message box is full. delete all the messages from sent box first to clear some memory. Then try to see if you can get the unread messages.

I have had the same problem with my nokia N73. Please check your SMS center number if it corresponds with the network you using, and that it has the complete digits typed in. And also, try to communicate with your network oprator to get your SMS center number. Good luck
