Same problem. Loud banging during spin cycle. I thought this had a Quiet Pak II? I've leveled the machine, and secured the front feet (the back feet are free floating?) The machine moves all over the place during cycles and I am constantly having to re-position it back in place. Please help!

Loud banging on final spin removed the front don't see any leaking or where it could be hitting.

I noticed a burning smell and have since not used the machine. When I looked at the front of the metal drum, where it meets the flexible rubber cover just inside the door, it looks like it has been burnt or scraped.

Loud banging noise during spin cycle

If you balanced the machine, the only other problem could be the load itself. Either the load is too great or if washing a single item its falling to one side, tilting the drum and when spinning it will thump. Try even lodes.

Loud banging noise during rinse

Most noises from a washing machine occur during the rinse or spin cycle. If you hear loud thumping during the spin, the load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it. Repeat these steps if necessary. This will solve your problem.

Loud banging noise during spin cycle of my front loading kenmore

If you spin the drum by hand, does it make any kind of thumping or banging noise? If it does, then you probally have a broken spider arm(s). This is very expensive to repair, unless you are handy, it may not be worth fixing. The link below shows the problem and how it can be fixed.

Loud banging/thumping during spin cycle on my kenmore front load

this sounds like this could be the bearings,to check for this, open door and with yourhand lift the inner chrome drum and let it fall then lift again and if you feel a knocking sound and a lot of play in it then its the bearings,i know there should be movement in the drum but this will feel more of a knocking.

Can not run spin cycle bang bang bang

Check the Vibration damper rods to be sure that...
1. They are there and mount is solid.
2. If they are broken in 1/2.
3. The plastic knuckle mounts are not missing/broken.
4. There is oil in the shock absorber/spring section of the rods.

Also - there are suspension springs on the bottom of the tub that could be broken and/or missing.

Replace/repair as necessary.

Washing machine

This sounds like the brakes have gotten some residue on them and are grabbing way too hard. The banging is the tub stopping too fast and the torque from this makes the tub bang into the cabinet. Just one bang at the end of a spin. Is this correct???
