Where can Iget drivers / software to use my RX620

Yes, the RX630 can be used with Windows 7 (x32 or x64). See http://tech.epson.com.au/downloads/category.asp?sCategory=Multi_Functional&id=stylusrx630&SelOS=Y for the available software. This printer is very similar to the RX620; thus those drivers/utilities may be useful. https://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/supDetail.jsp?oid=44341&infoType=Downloads&platform=OSF_W_7-64 . Use the Control Panel Add a Printer feature if the printer is not identified by the New Hardware Wizard with the USB connection. (First make sure that you have the printer connected directly to the computer's USB ports and that it is in a working port.) If Windows 7 doesn't automatically find the driver for the scanner of the all-in-one, load the appropriate driver for Vista. However, the buttons on the printer may not work to launch the scan to computer applications. If that happens, launch your scans from the computer. Windows 7 comes with Windows Fax and Scan to handle basic scans.

At the link below, if you use the pull-down for Win 8 and then expand the "more info" link, you will find that Windows 8 has the drivers for this printer already incorporated. There are procedures listed for loading drivers manually id Windows 8 does not detect and load them automatically.


Epson Stylus Photo RX620 All in One Printer

To Any & All of you that need a driver for any Epson Printer ( I currently have 2 RX580's -1 with refillables & 1 with a CISS and I have had a CX, a WorkForce, an Artisan & 2 NX's in the past) just go to their website and download the drivers.
Here's the link for the Windows 7 driver page ( you can also get Drivers for Windows XP there) and the Epson Link should detect your Operating System on its own:

Just click it & follow the simple directions. Once you get the Driver, then download any utilities that they may have for your All-In-One Printer, like = Easy Print, PrintCD, etc. etc.
NOTE: You should choose the 1st option they give you as it usually is all inclusive and normally is the same thing you would get if you had the original disk in your hand. But after you download it then check the "Utilities" Tab and see if there is any extra's for your particular model.
It should also be noted that for just basic printing, Windows 7 will provide you with a driver for your printer by just going and hooking up the printer to your computer and letting Windows Update find them for you.
Here's How To Do That:
Printer drivers for most models (and not just Epson) are included in the Windows 7 operating system. Follow the instructions below to install the Windows 7 printer and scanner drivers.

1. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.
2. Connect your Printer to your Computer, Plug in your Printer and turn it on.
3. Click (or go to your Control Panel) and select Devices and Printers.
4. Select Add a printer.
5. Select Add a local printer or Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer. Mine choice was " Local Printer".
6. Choose your printer port.
7. Click Windows Update and wait for the printer list to update. The update may take a few minutes.
8. Select EPSON as the Manufacturer, then scroll through the list of Printers and select your product. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the printer driver installation.

Note: Your product may also have an available scanner driver that is built into Windows 7 known as WIA.

For All Versions of: Windows 7 32-bit, Windows 7 64-bit
I hope this helps some of you out as I know it's sometimes hard to hang on to those Disc ( or maybe you got the printer used and it didn't come with one....). If anybody needs any additional help just drop me a line and I'll see what I can do for you.

They have already found the software.

This is where most Pc user fell prey to the new features of Windows 7. I agreed windows 7 is far more secure than any other Operating system that Microsoft has release till now.

But many forget to consider the point of hardware whihc they are going to use in day to day life really support Windows 7.

Only the scanner driver has been release by epson for your printer for windows 7. So there's no work out as they haven't even release drivers for windows vista too.

And you won't find the driver on net as nobody will write the driver program for any printer without the blue print of the printer hardware.

if it still doesn't work: do this-
go to device manager and manually install drivers, here is how:
Once logged in computer right click on "my computer" and select "properties", click on "hardware" tab and then click on "device manager" right click on your printer (probably has yellow exclamation mark since it didn't work first installing drievrs) click on update drivers.
now point it to the folder where you saved the drives from the link above.
you might get a warning about compatability but it is okay just click ok/yes to continue.
after its done installing check to you see if you can print.

Each manfu. provided a special window7 drivers and some did not check with your manuf. for one...at http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/support/SupportWindows7.jsp

I can not find driver suitable for scanner CP-HR6X SLIM for windows 7

I use the Windows XP SP2 drivers with Win 7. Before installing them, right click on the driver file, select properties, select compatibility and the select Win XP SP2.
