Janome 6260 after running for about 1 hour will start to sew erratically, then stall with LO message. Will not wind bobbin when this message is displayed. Bobbins wind loosely and unevenly.

Here's Janome LO error;

LO: Replace the foot controller.
  1. Check for a tight or stuck clutch by the hand wheel.
  2. The machine may be jammed. Remove the timing belt to locate whether the bind is on the upper shaft or lower shaft. If it is the upper shaft, there may be thread caught in the take-up lever or crank pin. If the lower shaft is binding, check hook clearance, hook backlash. Check the lower shaft rear bushing for any black 'gunk'. If there is, replace the lower shaft and rear bushing.
  3. Clean the sensor on the DC motor and check if the shield plate on the motor is not loose or hitting the sensor. If either the sensor or shield plate is damaged, replace the motor.
  4. Check the upper shaft sensor. Make sure the shield plate is going perfectly thru the middle of the sensor. Replace the sensor and/or shield plate if damaged.
  5. If you still get the error, replace the DC Motor or upper shaft sensor (in this order).
My first thought is if you're running nearly non-stop for an hour the motor is overheating. Not sure what the maintenance schedule is for this machine <?>. May need a good cleaning/lube. Then foot pedal, then other.

My bobbin winder was working but now it wont start winding have a 1950s model no ah766517 singer

Will it start if you give it a push?
If the motor has brushes then when these wear they have intermittent contact with the spinning shaft of the motor. I would expect it's an easy and inexpensive job to replace them. If the motor works OK then a belt or something has come off.

fortunately manufacturers take a long time to change walking feet so go to a janome sewing machine repair shop and they may have one that covers a range of years

Brother E2000 sewing machine, bobbin winder not working. took back off machine, found a "gooey" black substance on the winder shaft, removed and replaced with a "O Rubber Ring", still not working, tri

Gooey black substance was lubricant or grease. Can you really fix this yourself? Let the professionals make the repairs. These companies won't sell parts to you on a retail level. Un Certified repairs can make the machine unsafe to use. Please let a Professional repair the machine.

My model 120 Husqvarna Viking sewing machine will not start sewing with vigor. It lugs through the first two minutes of stitching with virtually no power then very gradually picks up speed. How do I fix...

Repair manuals are available only to Husqvarna Viking authorized dealers. However, I have seen some on ebay from time to time. Sounds like your problem could be several things - binding of the internal drive shaft which may have a build up of grease and lint which unbinds as you sew, could be a faulty motor, or faulty transformer. Suggest that it be serviced and cleaned by an authorized Husqvarna Viking Dealer. You can find the nearest dealer by click on the "Dealer" link at http://www.husqvarnaviking.com

Good luck.

Necchi PL1036. Needle bar worked loose and slid down shaft. Right looper struck it and probably bent. After trial and error adjustments, threads will not loop. right looper thread breaks. How to align ?...

Oh dear..... Bent looper and needle arm loose... Take this to be repaired before you damage the other looper as well and it costs twice as much. Expect looper to be in range of $65 plus service, as a ballpark. There are many variables with overlocker timing and it is beyond the scope of either this forum or the novice to correct the problem I am afraid.
