I have a Maytag electric dryer model PYE2300AYW. If used on the automatic setting, it never shuts off -- the clothes get dry and then hot. The dryer works fine on the time-cycle. Thanks
Either the control board or the humidity sensor is bad.

Thanks mrfixit3667 but....
I can't really see that this model has either a humidity sensor or a control board. Looking at the electrical schematic, it appears that it uses a thermostat to sense when the clothes are dry. Should I try replacing that?
