If you remove the deck, turn it upside done it is likely you will see a piece of clear plastic that holds the gear assembly together. usually fractures at the back of the deck where a screw go's through. if this is the case let me know & i will advise how it can be repaired..

Jay solo..most likely you will have to remove cd manually..unit may have a faulty cd application load switch.when you do remove do not try to play cd as it most likely do same..get it repaired .but at todays prices it is cheaper to replace

SOURCE: cd won't eject.keeps making clicking noises

the only way to repair this problem is to replace the entire cd mechanism. probably about a 30.00 to40.00 dollar part. can be obtained at pacparts.com.

You need to pull CD player, then remove lid (4 small screws) and you'll find CD lodged and can easily remove. Put lid back on, reinstall player and you're GOLDEN!

CD wont eject from drive

Have you already tried to mannually open the tray, by inserting a thin straight object (like a unbent paper clip) in the manual eject hole on the optical disk drive? The hole exists for that pupose.

CD stuck in Car CD player

I just fixed this in my x-terra. I had to buy a new stereo because the rubber roller that grabs the cd was worn or something. I even took the whole thing apart and cleaned everything. This was the only fix.
