Hello there, It seems that you have a stuck button or a problem with the ifit card area. Yes I know you probably dont use it but just listen. If you have the demo card for the unit try putting the demo card into the ifit slot and press it in and out a couple of times. This will sometimes correct this problem. If that does not correct it then you will need to replace the console or possibly disconnect the ifit section from the console itself. Either way you will need to remove the console.
If more info is needed please leave me a note here and I will get back to you asap.
Good Luck! Tim
Testimonial: "Tim, Thank you very much for your help. I already had the console apart so I just unplugged the ifit section and it works perfect. Randy"
Wow. I've been at this for hours and that's what exactly it was. I finally disconnected the ifit part of it and now it works great.
Use your flathead screwdriver to pry off the plate on the left side of the elliptical trainer.
Step 2
Look for the magnet and reed
switch. These elements will be roughly the same size, and the reed
switch should have a series of wires connected to it.
Step 3
Loosen the screw in the reed
switch using your screwdriver. Move the reed switch by hand until it
sits 1/8 inch from the magnet, then re-tighten the screw.
Step 4
Test the unit to see if the
display and heart rate monitor are working properly. If not, move the
reed switch slightly so it is closer or farther from the magnet, then
try the machine again. Once you've found the correct location for the
switch, tighten the screw to hold the reed switch in place.
Step 5
Replace the cover plate by snapping it into position by hand
God bless you
