It's easy, you can can just pull the collar out. I started by pulling the right side of collar untill that side was almost out after that I could pull left side and release the collar completly from the TV.

Your tv is not fully VESA compliant. You cannot remove the collar. There are mounts available that grip the screen instead of screwing into the back. This type will look better.

How do I remove the base stand to wall mount a Samsung model T24C55OND flat screen TV

The wall mount attaches to the top 1/3 portion of the TVs rear panel. The bottom of the back of the TV should not interfere with your wall mount if it's the correct size. Full instructions are listed starting at page 39 of the manual.

How to remove base so it can be wall mounted

Put LCD TV on a pillow, with screen resting on the pillow. Now the base will be free in air. Then remove screws at the back of TV, where base is joining. You might need a screw driver with magnetic head to remove screws. After removing screws, slide the base clamp out from the back of TV, and you are done.

How to remove base on samsung 2333hd. The base comes un mounted butcan't figure out how to remove the stub sticking out of the bottom of the tv for wall mounting

Hi there,
We had the same problem, we just wiggled it back and forth, gave it a good tug, and hey presto! We got it out. I'm not sure whether this is the "official" method of doing it, as nothing is mentioned in the instruction manuals.
Good luck!

How do I remove the stand of the Sony Bravia XBR KDL-V40XBR1 so i can wall-mount the tv?

you have to lay the tv on it's front on something to protect it from being damaged.on the back you'll see where the base joins the bottom of the display, this needs to be unscrewed and a wall bracket screwed in instead.

Problem on Samsung 55" set can't remove base

A difficult one as Samsung do not recommend that this uint is wall mounted but there should be 4 screws attaching the stand to the base of the TV chasssi but if you do remove it you will end up with a gap in the cover as Samsung do not provide blanking covers to cover it up.

Remove base of Insignia ns-ltdvd26-09 lcd tv for wall mounting

Open up the panel on the back of the TV which covers the various input connections. At the bottom of the area previously covered, there are 8 screws (two rows of four screws). Remove them, and the entire stand should now slide right out of the TV. You can then replace the screws back in their holes, so you don't lose them. You do not need to disassemble the stand to do this.
