If you have uninstalled the webcam software and drivers, please restart your computer if you have not already done so since. Also, make sure that your webcam is not connected to you computer after restarting. You should now be able to insert the CD software, and install the webcam by following the instructions on screen! If you are still unable to use the webcam after installing, please post back, and we can troubleshoot the problem!
Go to your Control Panel and open the program to Uninstall software In the left hand window click the link 'View installed updates ' Right click on any relating to your webcam and uninstall Restart your computer Try downloading again
Hi. Try uninstalling the webcam software that you have already installed from the control panel, then install again the software for the webcam and make that the webcam is plugin while you are installing the driver. If this doesnt fix the issue try downloading another driver on a different source, maybe because there also a problem with the drivers you have downloaded. Try downloading it to A4tech's driver support website. Hope this helps
Try downloading an uninstaller Disconnect your webcam Close all other programs
Download the free Revo -It will open up displaying all the software loaded on your pc. Double click on your webcam software - Use the 'Advanced' mode - Revo will make a Restore Point and then uninstall using the webcam uninstall software. It will then scan your C drive and Registry for all fragments and files that failed to uninstall. Delete everything it finds http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html
Sometimes your computer will be unable to find the webcam if you have been using it in another program and it may still be hooked up to the previous program. You can reboot the webcam software by unplugging it form the USB port for a couple of seconds. Test your webcam here to make sure it broadcasts OK - Hit 'Allow' in the top window and check your cam in the left hand panel.

If its not working you have a software problem. I would suggest you you uninstall the software and re-install the latest software from Microsoft hardware support
Once you have proven your webcam can broadcast you can configure it to whichever chat program you want to use it in - use the help section in the probgram for this
Go to windows explorer and find the uninstall there. In the program folder for it, it will be one of the applications. If all else fails, just reinstall it. The files that are there now will just be overwritten.
Uninstall using revou ninstaler and remove all registry. restat computer. then try to install it again. but remember before doing this create a system restore point.
