Windows 7 hp audio hp pavilion dv1000 drivers I upgraded to windoes 7 from xp and i have no sound went to alot of sites but nothing

Sir, i have HP Pavilion dv 1000 (XP operating system). Recently, i upgrade it by Window 7 but Now audio driver is not working properly now. pl suggest to solve it.----- pratik

Hey bro i hv same prob. but here is the solution.u need a working internet connection.
connect ur laptop to internet and let it download the updates go to the addition updates and select the audio drivers...after downloading and installing sound drivers will install on ur laptop

They only have windows XP drivers for that series !!!

Just Try this

- Open Device Manager (in the Start search field, enter Device Manager andselect it) - The devices for which drivers did not install are shown inthe Other Devices section. - Right click on the audio device and select Update devicedriver - Select the Search automatically for updated device driver

No audio driver for windows7 on hp pavilion dv1000
I have checked HP website for drivers. It seems to be that you have upgraded to Windows 7 by your own. As HP doesn't have drivers for Windows 7. They have drivers only for Windows XP or Windows 2000.

Good day I have an hp pavilion dv1000 laptop and have recenently upgraded to Windows vista premium and now do not have sound nor any drivers to support.
Have you tried the XP Drivers? I know it sounds impossible, but most XP drivers will work for Vista, especially sound drivers, since they don't use special programs to run. I hope this will solve your problem, if not, don't hesitate to come back! Thanks for using FixYa, have a great day.

I installed a windows 7 on my pavilion dv1000 no sound
Open the Dervice Manager and check the driver status. Update if necessary.

Yes go to Hp solutions and down load new audio realteck drivers for windows 7. Also update your realteck HD Audio manager software.
