The D500 is an odd fellow when it comes to bluetooth, it has a compatibility problem that makes it impossible to send anything from other brands than samsung to it.

There is no easy solution to this problem other than using a computer or another samsung.

Sorry, but in this perticular case ... Samsung sucks big-time :-(

Hi, My Samsung mobile is GT-C3303. I have problems in connecting to the bluetooth device on my laptop machine to transfer the music files. I have tried both 0000 and 9999 and 1234 but nothing is helping...

you have to pair your samsung phone to your laptop first before you can start sending and receiving files through bluetooth.
an option is, turn the bluetooth on your laptop on, then the bluetooth of your mobile phone on. on your phone, search for devices, then once you see the name of the bluetooth device of your laptop, tap it then choose connect or pair, you will be asked for a passkey (you can input anything try 0) or in some devices wait until a pop screen appears which will contain the passkey usually 5 to 6 digits. then click ok
another option is (i tried this using my samsung corby wifi and a samsung n150 laptop and it works just fine) make sure that the bluetooth on your laptop and phorne is turned on. on your laptop click on the bluetooth icon or click the file you want to send, then right click, then choose send to bluetooth, your laptop will then search for available devices, just choose your mobile phone then automatically there is a popscreen which has a passkey, then click ok. on your phone you will be asked to allow to connect thru the laptop, just click ok, then make sure that the passkey matches between your phone and laptop. (usually it is automatic, you just need to click ok) you should be able to send and receive files thru bluetooth on your phone and laptop

How to connect samsung tocco mobile to another samsung tocco mobile using bluetooth?

Hi,

Turn on the Bluetooth wireless feature.

To turn on the Bluetooth follow the below steps,

1. In Menu mode, select Applications > Bluetooth.
2.. Select the circle in the center to turn on the Bluetooth wireless feature.
3.. To allow other devices to locate your phone, select Settings > On under My phone’s visibility > Save.

To connect other device to your mobile

1. In Menu mode, select Applications Bluetooth Search.
2. Select and drag a device icon into the centre.
3. Enter a PIN for the Bluetooth wireless feature or the other device’s Bluetooth PIN, if it has one, and select OK.

When the owner of the other device enters the same PIN or accepts the connection, pairing is complete.

After connecting you can start sending the files from one mobile to another mobile.

To send files follow the below steps.

1. Select the file or item from one of your phone’s applications that you want to send.
2. Select Send via or Send URL via Bluetooth, or select More Send via Bluetooth

Thank You

Sending Videos from D500

The answer to question 3: If you right click on the file, it should say open with. Click on this and it should give you a recommended programe to open it with. Could you also tell me if it has a memory card. If it does, you merely need to take this out of the phone and take it into a photographic shop. They will be able to put them onto disc for you.

D500.

For other mobiles to send some data to you, bluetooth in your mobile should be in discoverable mode. Try changing the setting of bluetooth not to be kept in hidden mode. once your mobile is discovered by others, pair your mobile with them. Now you can receive all the files to your mobile, but only the supported format files like mp3, jpeg picture, etc
