What if was accidentally turned to spanish and i was trying to get it turn back i guess i de-registered it how do i get it back to normal I DON'T SPEAK SPANISH HELP!
My sisters phone/answering machine is doing the same thing. In researching this issue, I came across this website,
http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=27549
and it recommends holding the "skip" button for 3 to 5 seconds, repeatedly if necessary, until you reach the "English" setting. My sister lives in another state, so I won't be able to confirm its effectiveness until tomorrow. You could go ahead and try it... What's it going to hurt! :-)
Wishing you success,
Sheila
Hello again,
In searching further, I found ATLINKS, which is the exclusive manufacturer of GE Communication Products for the world. After clicking this link and looking around for several minutes, I was able to view their basic cordless phone products, which includes those with answering machines. By clicking on this link, http://www.home-electronics.net/ge/pc/vi... you'll be able to select a model based on the GHz of the phone, rather than the model number. Example, 2.4 GHz, 5.8 GHz, etc. Take a look at your phone and determine its GHz, then select one of the five links that best decribe your phone. This, will take you to another page where you can click on a specific model that looks similar to yours. You can do this, by clicking on the picture, or "More Options" button. Once this page opens, you'll see a blue box that reads "Product Information & Downloads". In this same box, you're given two options... Select the one that reads "Product Instruction Book". This will open a Manual in pdf format that you can either save, or print. (However, I'd recommend "saving" it, because it "prints" in very small letters that are hard to read. If you save it to your computer and open it in Adobe, you can enlarge it, and this will make it easier to read.) Although the phones Model# might differ from yours, the setup seems to be the same for every model I looked at. The only difference between the advice given early, and now, is that the manual recommends holding the "skip" button for only 2 seconds when switching from English to Spanish, or vise versa.
I'm sorry there are several steps involved in getting to the Manual. If I had known the GHz of your phone, I could have saved you some time. Anyway, I do hope this has been useful for you and I hope it resolves your phone issues.
Wishing you success,
Sheila

You can go to the menu like you always do, and since spanish is similar to english you can use parts of the forgien word to switch back to english. (or if you still remember the options in the menu, you could just scroll down as normal).
SOURCE: what if it is spanish and dont speak spanish so i dont know how to get it back to englixh
Start witn MENU O8 or 081 (depends on handset) and use the UP/DOWN arrows to select English and the RIGHT arrow to select.
Reregistration starts with a MENU command in the handset for register and pressing the handset locator on the base. Panasonic has a manuals site and here is a 600 pdf http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTGA600-MUL.PDF
