Hoptopint wd72 - E15 and wont take water in

Bear with me! - Stopped with E15, check pipies. So I took black hose off, checked pump etc...all clear. also machine HAD emptied. cannot find blockage anywhere. Now the machine also does not take water in, goes through wash cycle with no water, then E15. Did some homework, and checked out water heater. - Open circuit. - so ordered/replaced new heater - fired it up - takes water in! - great I thought...goes through wash cycle - stops with an E15 again!!...now it wont take water in again...back to sqaure one. checked new heater... seems ok 26 ohms resisitance..old one open circuit. Checked new thermister agaist old one..both read the same... So what the hell can it be? and what controls the water ingress? HELLLP?

Hi, - fixed this myself. Problem was a blocked pipe from front of drum to pressure switch. - The machine was fooled in to thinking it had water in when it hadnt! - hence the error 15. that was also why it would not fill. - im guessing the heater blew because it was on with no water to keep it cool!

What is error message e15

What brand dishwasher? Model number might help too.
If it is a Bosch this might be the answer.
The E15 fault code means that the dishwasher is not receiving water through the water supply hose, or at least that what the machine thinks anyway.

E15= Check Water Inlet supply*

This can be caused by several reasons.

1. The filters in your inlet hose or inlet valve are blocked and need cleaning.
2. The inlet water supply valve is faulty and worn out, not allowing water in fast enough in relation to the set amount of time it takes to fill the machine for washing etc..
3. The water supply isnt turned on fully underneath the sink?

You will need to undo the water inlet hose from under the sink and check to see if there is a filter in that end of the hose and check to see if it needs cleaning. It will be of the wire Gauss type.

If not, then you will need to uninstall the dishwasher and pull it out from the cabinet to check the inlet valve where the inlet hose connects to at the bottom rear of the machine.

The valve itself will have a filter, where the hose attaches to. Undo the hose and visually check the filter in the valve for blockage/restrictions.

If the above brings no results, then you probably need a new inlet valve for the dishwasher.

E15 eeror message

If Hotpoint or Creda check for:
E15: Water not pumping out, or pumping out too slowly. Check pump for obstruction or foreign objects jamming pump, or kinked drain hose, or blocked outlet/U-BEND.

I have a hotpoint ulitma washing machine that is

Error code E15 means pump time out, that it is to say the water is not pumping out enough in the time alloted by the control module.
There must be some kind of blockage or restriction in the pump or the outlet hose, so you need to check these.
Please rate my solution.
Thanks.

E15 code on display of Hotpoint ultima extra WD72.

E15 means that it is not draining fast enough. As well as checking the outlet pipes, check the filter leading to the pump. Disconnect the power and pipe. If possible take outside because there will be a residual amount of water. Remove the back panel, then disconnect the locking rings holding the tubes on. Your main target should be the big downflow rubber tube from the drum, in here is a plastic filter. In mine I found a child's sock... plus buttons...plus slime. Problem solved.

I get a message saying check outlet pipes. If

If you need to clean the filter, then remove the lower rear cover.
Remove large black hose fastened to drum.
Remove and clean filter inside hose.
Remove hose onto pump, and check for blockage or obstruction here, and check inside the pump as well.
Hope this helps with your prob, Good luck.
Thankyou.

E15 water is draining but clothes still sodden,

The problem is your pump or filter is blocked.
Power off the mains. The filter is located behind the silver plate at the back of the machine at the bottom. Four screws hold it on. Drain out all the water. The filter is inside the big black rubber hose attached between the pump and the main drum. Remove the plastic clip holding it to the pump unit and then the metal cir clip holding it to the main drum. Inside is a white molded cone and a big white ball which floats. You will find a lot of junk here, clean out thoroughly. To refit put white cone back inside just as you found it, at the bottom, fit ball back into the cone. Attach to the bottom to the drum and re-fasten the cir clip. Finally reconnect the gator to the pump unit and tighten the plastic clip. Check out the pump too before reconnecting.
And rate me plz……………………….

E15 code showing and constant bleeping sound after timed wash. We cannot find user manual.

E15 is for your drain pipes are clogged. Either from the pump or after the pump. Usually it is something before the pump that is blocking the pump from working correctly. Open the back of the unit and check out all of the hose lines, EVERYTHING. And make sure that you do not have any blokage whatsoever. Once that is done you can try to do a load with really hot water. Usually that is enough to get rid of the rest of the blockage and makes things soft so it runs smoother

I have a hotpoint model number WD72 6 year old it has been diplaying a check outlet pipe error, the only way to complete wash cycle is to select a spin cycle, this has now stopped and water came out of the...

Sounds like it is not draining, that is why water came out on spin.
You need to check the outlet pipe, and see if there is a blockage anywhere.
Also the pump may not be working.
There is a filter built into the sump hose, you need to remove the back panel to access it, and then remove the large black hose fastened to the bottom of the drum.
In there you will find the filter, remove and clean if required.
Hope this helps, if any further prob, come back to me. Please leave feedback.Thanks.

Hotpoint washer dryer

1. Turn off power
2. Turn off hot and cold inlets if possible - if not then pop outside and turn off water to house
3. Unscrew all the screws on the back of the machine to take off the rear panel
4. Use a large pair of pliers to remove the clip securing the large black rubber hose to the drum chamber.
5. Remove sock. Trust me, it's a sock :)
6. Put it back together.

If there is no sock (but I'm sure there is) then work your way through the drainage system until you find the problem. I once had a label from a baby grow in the fan blades of the pump. The drainage is pretty self explanatory. There's only the internal black hose with a filter in, then the pump, then the external hose. If there really is no sock then check them all.
