Sharplc20sh1e the subtitles are on my tv and i cant remove them

cant get the subtitles of my tv, they are now on every station

Normally the remote control has a button with the name Subtitles press the key for turn Off.However you must sure if the TV has Turn ON the captioning.God bless you

Universal remote controls might not work for all functions of a TV which is supposed to be. To get all functions, you must buy an original remote control for your TV brand.

There should be a button on the remote control to turn on and off the subtitles. On three of my Samsung products the subtitle button is marked as "subtitle"

TV mode:
Open the menu and go to features then subtitle.
Switch off analogue subtitle.
Scroll to 1st subtitle and then scroll through the languages until "off" comes up.
Repeat for 2nd subtitle.

try Menu/Exit - Features - Subtitle - Ensure both Analog Subtitle and 1st Subtitle are set to Off

Are you sure they are subtitles rather than closed captioning (if it is TV rather than DVD, it is closed captioning)?

If it is closed caption, pressing subtitle won't turn them off. If there is a button that says "Closed Caption" or "CC" press it. If not, press menu and look for the CC option (it should be under video or audio depending on the TV). Turn it off.

If you are watching a foreign language movie on TV (not DVD) it is likely hardsubbed (you can't turn the subs off because they are burned into the video).

All yo do is find your remote and go to the cable or sattalite menu and turn them off.

Turn off your SAP option
