InFocus My problem is that when I turn on the projector, I get a speckled black and white screen but no real images. The LED is green and I can't get anything to happen with any of the buttons. Any ideas?

Hi I have a similar problem monochrome image... the screen starts with black horizontal bands.. then speckled white dots appear and fill the screen.. and slowly grow.. I press the keystone keys and the amount of white speckle changes so the buttons work .. to an extent... also connected to a vga and played movie, the projected image flickers as the movie plays.. the audio is fine through the projector... Please help I hope its just noise from the 680uf 16V caps in the power section and hope not a mainboard fail! :-)

Hi there, my dell projector 1800mp is not projecting an image on screen and it only black lines across. what should I do to fix it?.

After turning on the projector, press "+" and "-" buttons on the control panel

simultaneously for 3 seconds and release the buttons when screen goes blank.

2 Press "+" and "-" buttons again to exit the diagnostic mode.

3While in Self-diagnostic mode, the screen will run a seven-color-cycle test as

following:

Red--> Green--> Blue--> White--> Watchet Blue--> Dark Green--> Yellow.

Ensure that the colors of the test pattern are correct. Contact Dell if the colors are
not displayed correctly.

What does it mean when that blinking green light turns to orange one in lp 350?

Hi
This would be "Standby"
When you press standby, the display and audio turn off and a blank screen is displayed for 15 minutes.
You can change the amount of time the projector stays in standby mode; see “Standby Time” on page 27 for details.
The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.
• If you press standby again within 15 minutes, the projector returns to normal operations immediately. The LED changes from orange to green.
• If you press standby again after 15 minutes, there is about a 60 second delay before the lamp turns back on. The LED flashes green while the lamp is re-lighting.
• If you don’t press standby again, the lamp turns off after 15 minutes. The LED lights orange while the projector is in standby.

I hope these help

Black and white specks from InFocus X1 projector

if you can get a menu when you press the menu button, reset the settings to factory default. if you don't get a menu, the color wheel or the dmd chip is bad. either way, you'll have to replace the entire optical engine. and unfortunately, infocus no longer has any more in stock.

Red shadow to left of main image InFocus LP750

You have to open the LP750 and check the alignment of your color lenses. You might be needed to adjust, also check your lamp too.

Projector lamp shows blue on white screen

the red is cutting out. white=blue+green+red. without red, you get blu+green, or cyan. if this was an lcd projector, i'd say it's a burnt light filter, the red lcd, or the lcd has come unplugged. but since this is a dlp projector, you have either a dmd board issue or a main board issue. either way, it'll be pricey.

Black and white image on infocus x3

first reset the settings to factory default (menu, settings). if that changes nothing and the colorwheel is still in tact, the main board is bad.
