Uninstall all your drivers (and delete the preferences) and download the Mac drivers from this link. The drivers that came with your printer were developed before Snow Leopard came out.

TravelScan Pro Drivers

Go to Device Manager and most likely the travelscan pro 600 is not popping up under imaging devices where it should be. Unplug the scanner and plug it into a different USB port. Try this on all the USB Ports on the machine if it reappears in device manager then the software will work. If you are using a USB extention cord or USB hub get rid of them till you try all the ports. If it doesn't i would suggest contacting the manufacture and seeing if the scanner is still under warranty.

guys I found the driver, apparently the company changed its name to Document Capture Technology. http://www.docucap.com/index.php?/downloads/index
However, it no longer have a link for downloading tat stupid sofware which allows you to manage the scan. so, rite now, my scanner is connected and everything but i can't get it to scan any documents.... can someone post the tat... pro scan manager? software

I have been searching for some drivers for your TravelScan Pro 2300u. The odd thing is: I looked for the scanner and I found it's software (PCMCIA) on syscaninc.com and I looked for it's manufacturer (Ambir Technology) and I couldn't find this model.

So here's the link to the first thing:

I think they should work though. When I looked deeper on the Ambir Technology site I found this driver. It's a TWAIN driver for a few discontinued models such as the 2300u. It's listed on this page. Click link below to the exact download.

* TWAIN is a standard communication protocol between scanners etc. in case you wonder.
