Replacement screen and filter

You need just a robber ring under the filter (the best way is to replace oil/filter)

Most are replaceable but most also require the oil pan to be dropped to do so.
WIX makes good filters all around, most NAPA auto parts stores carry WIX under their own label. If it is a Ford product, Motorcraft filters are good, if GM, Delco filters are good. Rock Auto is a really good source.

this repair would be best done with a new wiring harness. Un ensuring that the new harness is no where near the heat source.clip the connectors and replace the harness straight back in

Unplug the power and remove bottom front panel (three torque screws) to access drain filter. When opening drain filter cover (large round piece about in the center behind front cover) you'll get about a pint of water. You can stop most of this from dumping on the floor by placing a shallow bowl under the drain filter when opening it. Clean the filter and run wash cycle again. If still receiving Hf error, then problem is probably drain pump. Remove three screws and inspect for damage and as long as you've gone this far, I'd replace it anyway. Best source of replacement pump (and housing) is E-Bay. You shouldn't have to replace the housing, but a lot of pumps are sold with it. If you've lost or can't find the parts pamphlet that came with the machine, visit the Sears website for a parts break down for your model. Sears replacement parts are generally more expensive than found elsewhere, but site is a good source for parts info if you need it. Hardest part of the job is finding the correct torque bit size for screw removal. If you do remove the drain pump assembly, the hoses are a pain, but easier if using vice grips to hold open when removing and reinstalling.

Every projector I have seen like this one has user replaceable filters (it's a source of revenue for the manufacturer) and most units will actually tell you when to replace them.
There should be a section in your user guide on how to replace this filter, and possibly also where/how to order them.
If you do find a source for your filters, I always suggest getting spares (as well as the bulbs) just in case they decide to stop making them at some point.

You can call 1-800-OK-CANON and probably order these parts.
Page 39 of the manual only goes into cleaning and not replacement.

Yes, you should NOT operate this unit without the filters.If you have to, cut a piece of coffee filter the inside width of the filter slot and long enough so that if you lay it so the middle of the strip is across the opening and you push the filter frame in, there's tabs sticking out (so you can remove it later) to get you through any SHORT TERM EMERGENCY period. The coffee filters will not allow adequate ventilation for long term use.

If Canon doesn't have these parts available, post a reply to this solution, and I'll see what we can do.

Replacement LCD screens are available on the Internet. I suggest you Google search for replacement laptop LCD screens.

The part # for your screen is KR02912. and according to my Canadian supplier it is no longer available Try checking directly with Hitachi USA or try PartsStore.com and search the above listed Part #. If you do get a replacement the best thing to do would be to order the Service manual (servicemanuals.net)since it has a blow up of assembly parts.Also try Ebay for a used screen

I've never seen a source for replacment LCD or plasma screens for TVs. Effectively the screen is like the chassis of a car; you can buy everything except that as a repair part.

Even if it were available, the cost of the part would be very close to the cost of an entire TV set. Your best bet is to buy the same model with a blown power supply and take that part from yours to make a whole TV.

Sorry, but Kodak is the only source for new parts for their cameras, and they do their best to also be the only repair location. You can send it into Kodak for expensive repairs, or you can check sources such as eBay for a cheap, broken camera with an intact screen.
