How do I turn the volume of the ringer off on Nortel T7316E. I don't want it on 'do not disturb' as I need to take calls/allow them to go to voicemail, but don't want to hear the ring.

Two different options,... Call the extension, and while it is ringing, press the volume down bar until you can no longer hear it ringing. You can also try this... Leaving the handset down, do Feature * 80, adjust the loudness for ringer volume by pressing the volume bar.

How to I turn the universal volume on a Norton Networks T7316E Phone?

Have you tried to call the phone and adjust the volume on the set while the call is coming in? I think the only way you can adjust the ringer volume is if the phone is ringing.

Somehow the ringer got turned off. Can't figure

Adjusting the Ringer, Earpiece and Speaker Volume

Adjusting the Ringer Volume

You can choose from four ringer volume settings (off, low, medium, and high) separately on each handset or the base.

With the phone in standby, press or on the handset or VOLUME or VOLUME on the base. The handset or base sounds the ringer at that level.

Use on the handset or VOLUME on the base to make the ringer volume louder. Use on the handset or VOLUME on the base to make it softer or turn it completely off.

When you hear the ringer volume level you want to use, stop pressing keys.

The handset or base will use the new ringer volume starting with the next incoming call.

Note: If you set the ringer volume to Off, the handset or base won't ring. Other handsets or base will ring according

to their individual settings.

Muting the Ringer (One call only)
While the phone is ringing, press /Mute or END on the handset or on the base to mute the ringer

How do I turn the ringer on the phone. We have 5 phones in the office and only one rings. Is there a way to turn a ringer on all 5 phones so we can hear incoming calls from all offices?

Hi, you need your main telephone number to ring at a group ie 500, then you need to add the extensions to that group, I will try to explain;

With your handset down press TRANSFER - 200 - 1234 - 1 - SPEAKER KEY

Then dial 714, use the volume key to find the phone number required, the using the 3rd little soft key under the screen find the 1 or DAY destination type in the group number .

Then press speaker and go to 601 and add the members to the chosen group, I have uploaded a video explaining how to do this step. Go to http://www.abbeytelecom.com for more training and programming tips.

Hi we have 4 Panasonic KX-T7730 phones in our office and 2 of them have stop ringing they are still receiving call but there is no tone to make you aware that its ringing!!

When customers ask this question, it's usually because someone has turned off the ringer on the phone. A 77xx phone has a 3-position ringer switch on the left side of the phone. It's pretty easy to turn it to OFF.

If you have somehow asked the question and the phone really doesn't ring, try swapping it with a working phone. If it still doen't ring, then it may be that the extension is not programmed to ring, but you didin't ask that question.

When someone gets transferred to my extension, they cannot hear me, but I can hear them. Also, I am unable to hear the phones ring. The ringer is on though.

Have you tried another Phone in your extension?...

Could Be 'Curly Cord' for the lack of reception to others...

Ringer is an electronic One through the Speaker of your phone.

Both could be faulty
