Hi Friend, Please use Itunes software available freely at: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ After the download , install the software. First copied cd content to itunes library. second you connect your Nano then synchronise Hope you get the point Regards Uttam.
If he has his own computer, just plug it into his and open up iTunes, you will be asked if you want to sync the ipod with the this computer, say yes, then click "Erase and Sync."
There ya go!
If you share a computer, then plug it onto your computer, select the ipod in the list to the left in iTunes, then select the "Music" tab and choose which music he wants synced to the iPod.
Hope this helps!
"If you are experiencing these errors, begin by updating to the latest version of iTunes. When you have the current version of iTunes, try the following:
Disconnect and reconnect your iPod and then attempt to restore.
Restart your computer and then attempt to restore your iPod.
Disable or Enable Disk Use on your iPod and then attempt to restore.
Try connecting your iPod to a different USB port and then attempt to restore.
Remove any third-party USB devices you have connected to your computer (it is not necessary to remove your keyboard or mouse).
worst case scenario is that a circuit has broken inside. But your ipod will be under warrenty for a year from purchase.
Otherwise, leave the ipod to charge for a long time. Just leave it connected directly to the computer USB port despite not having any change in appearance. Also, don't connect it via a usb hub or through your keyboard. You will need to plug it into your computer directly.
You can also try entering DFU mode. Here is a great step by step guide to do that. http://iphonefreakz.com/beginners-guide/howto-dfu-mode/
Then restore the ipod and update the firmware. Make sure you have the latest version of itunes installed. By checking through software update.
