Hello, my USB flash drive has ever got the similar USB drive not formatted error and also cannot be formatted immediately before I successfully take everything original out. Moreover, it is also in RAW file system in Disk Management. But, fortunately, I do not overwrite this flash drive and also not attempt to format it as I think. And then, the flash drive expert, one of my friends, just says the RAW file system flash drive information is still possible to be recovered back at the aid of flash drive RAW file system recovery software. Therefore, follow his suggestions and guidance. I just rescued most of my original stuffs back.

Hi,
You can try to format the mp3 player.
Go through: Setting>Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Disk management>
Try to format it with fat files system.

Pendrive not formatted
if u still having the same problem, follow these steps:

1.Insert your pendrive. open mycomputer, note the respective drive showing pendrive.

2. Then go to run and type cmd ( or go to command prompt)

3.It will show like: C:\> or C:\Documents and Settings\UserName>

4.Type the drive name of pendrive as shown in e.g
if drive is h: then type as

c:\>h:
h:\>format h:
it will format and ask for media name, you can give the name of your pendrive.

your pen drive is formatted. Now it will show the free space as 8G.B

Unable to format pen drive
XP has a stupid feature like that. If you did format with the XP style, try to do it manually.

My computer > Locate your usb pendrive >Rightclick and Format.

If this don't work, your pendrive might just be malfunctioning. Replace it if you can, or upgrade to external harddrive.
