Hello,

the red, white and yellow wire, helps to connect DVD or VCR players into the television.

Once the DVD or VCR is connected, then you will press the AV of the TV to view the DVD or VCR.

The Yellow wire is video (Visual) while white and red are for sound ( Audio L & R).

Take care.

First thing you will need to do is to buy a wire adapter for your specific make & year of car. This interfaces the stock wiring plug allowing you to connect the wires from the headunit to the wires of the plug.

Here is a color coding explanation for the wires on your Alpine Deck:

P o w e r Memory (+12v Constant) Yellow Ignition (+12v Switched) Red Ground (-) Black Dimmer Pink/White (Alpine only) Power Antenna Blue Amplifier Turn-on Blue/White Phone Mute Light Blue (Sony only) S p e a k e r s Right Front (+) Gray Right Front (-) Gray/Black Left Front (+) White Left Front (-) White/Black Right Rear (+) Violet Right Rear (-) Violet/Black Left Rear (+) Green Left Rear (-) Green/Black
