Lost disc to put laptop to printer can i do it from laptop with out disc

did u try using the disc that came with the printer irrespective of whether u needed it last time or not...? u need the drivers to connect the printer to the laptop and this is what is inside the disc that came with the printer. if u have lost the disc however you could go to the printer's company website and check for drivers necessary to install the printer... they ll surely have it in the downloads and/or support section

Download the appropriate files for your Printer, Copy them to a disc for future use, and install the drivers/software.

go to brothers printers website go to support page put your printers model and they should let you download the drivers for the printer
