Rons1photogr, You will need to fix thermal intermittant solder joint and /or bad electrolytic filter capacitors on printed circuit board called "switch-mode-power-supply"/"CCFL inverter supply"???? Software can't fix this problem!!! Hardware refurbistment only. READ, READ, READ, more stuff in my profile on black screen repair s and or other options open to you. 12fixlouie

I have an aoc 2019sw1 monitor. When ever I try turn it on its works perfectly for a few minutes then turns off. I cannot press the power button to turn it back on, have to plug out cable then try. This...

It sounds like you've got a diode overheating in the power supply, triggering a self protect shut down. Given the cost of repairs, unless you're qualified to do the repairs yourself, it'll be less expensive to purchase a new one than to fix that one.

Monitor goes black after running for a few minutes. Brand new 22 inch sceen.I prees the button to turn it on and it says Analog and goes black again. I have to shut down the computor to get it to come back...

Sounds like the computer is shutting it down and the monitor is fine. Check for viruses then check your settings in device manager for the screen saver and power down (screen off) options.

Emachine Monitor comes on a few minutes and cuts back off

I have the same problem and I think its the circuit board on the power on button and blue led. I unplug the board when the monitor is on and then the monitor stays on and works OK.
It don't make any sence it is only 3 parts switch led connector
anybody else run into the problem

It turns off, or goes to sleep. Won't wake up.

Hello there topothemorni,

Are you familiar with Windows' "Power Options" module, and that within it you can tweak all things related to power saving (e.g., system sleep, hibernate, and automatic MONITOR shut off)? More than likely you just need to make a visit there and make some desired adjustments.

[Control Panel > Power Options]
... OR ...
Start > Run > type "powercfg.cpl" (without quotes), then hit Enter.

Once there, you'll probably find most everything self-explanatory.

Also, it may be responding to configurations adjustable from within the monitor itself. Somewhere on the monitor there will be a OSD (On Screen Display / Setup) button of some type, where from there you'll be able to make whatever necessary tweaks. Refer to its documentation if you don't find it self-explanatory.

Good luck and please let me know if you have any further questions, and/or just to let me know how things worked out.
