JVC GR-D33U Mini DV Digital Camcorder Opened the screen and message E06 inidcates "remove and reattach battery unit in safeguard mode". However removal of battery and reattaching does not work; still getting same message,tried turning off and attempting later..still does not work

Try removing the battery and leaving it for 24 hours to allow any internal issues to reset themselves.

E06 is a service issue.

On the camcorder problem: It seems to be a well known problem and it costs more to solve this than to buy a new one!

Remove the battery and or the power supply (plug), leave it out for a few minutes, then reattach. This should solve your problem.
