I have a Kenneth Cole watch and I can't seem to get the battery out. I tried prying it with a knife for a while and it won't seem to budge. Can some one help me?
After a little research I found this cool looking tool....

I can't imagine buying the tool would be cheaper than
paying a watch repair shop to replace the battery or
sending it in to KC directly. However it would be super
cool to be able to change the battery at will. If anyone
can find where to buy this "claw" tool please do reply.
This one is a tough nut. I managed to open it and changed the battery but wasn't able to close it back. Ended up cracking the crystal due to my own fault. I'd take this to a professional if I could do it again.
Some watches have a special way to open..nut by push/pull out the back but by rotating it .in this case it hase some small cuts in the back cover .if this so,it just might need to rotate.

This one is a tough nut. I managed to open it up but was unable to close it by hand. Ended up buying a case back snap and ruined the crystal. I won't take this one to a professional.
I have a KC4186 wrist watch, looks just like the KC3289 to me. I found the little groove on the back and tried using a small screw driver, it has moved, ever so slightly and I've done some scratching on the back cover, but that ****** ain't gonna pop off. This has become a challenge now. I change all my watch batteries myself cause it would cost me a fortune to take one in every time a battery died. Please help before this one becomes wall kill.
Thank you, Jeanne
