Our phone cant conect to the linephone.it rings when a call recived but when we cant answer it .we replace the line cable but it doesent work.
Some phones answer when picked up off the charger, but with some you must press the talk button to answer. Some have a green reciever on the button. And to hang up you must press the off button or the button with the red reciever.
Just wondering, Have you checked the volume control on the phone? Are people able to hear you? Did this phone ever work for you? I could not find that model number listed anywhere. Are you sure you have the model number listed correctly? Don't give up we will find the answer. Is it a new phone that could be returned if it is defective?
I again looked for this model number and cannot find it. Maybe the best thing to do is call Panasonic support help line 1 800 211 7262. sorry I could not help.

i know them but when i press the button to answer, the ring of phone become off but the phone wasnt connect to the line.
and when i want to make a call i cant hear dail tone.
yes it worked but in this 2 days it became unworked.its not a new phone .the model is kx-tc1282.volume is ok .i connect the other phone to the same line.when both phone become ringing i press answer of this phone.ring became off but i couldent hear the caller.
