The KX-TG101s isn't a model that I recognize. Do you mean the KX-TGA101 handset? If so, that handset goes with the KX-TG1031 base.

If this is the right handset, make sure that the entire phone system is in standby. Press Menu/OK and navigate to Handset Settings with the Up/Down arrows. Press Menu again and navigate to Ringer settings. Press Menu and navigate to Ringer Volume. Press OK and use the up/down keys to set the desired volume. Press OK and then Off to exit the menu system. You may also want to check the Ringer tone in the same Ringer setting menu. The tone may not be set to one that you hear.

I hope this helps. If you still don't hear the phone ring, you may need to check your phone wiring and the base. I often check phone wiring with an old-fashioned wired phone.

Hi, Sounds like the ringer is turned off. Go through minue and select ON. Hope that helps. Also check base unit for button or switch.

The KX-TGA101 isn't an answering machine. It's a handset to be used with a base station. If the base station has an answering machine, please refer to its documentation. If you have a separate answering machine connected, refer to its documentation. If you're subscribed to a voicemail system provided by your telephone service provider, contact them for instructions on using their system.

If you require further assistance, please specify the answering machine or system.

The KX-T7630 is a proprietary digital phone that will only work on panasonic phone systems. You need an analog phone if you are going to connect it directly to an outside telephone line.

had a similar problem. exchanged power supplies between base unit and satellite unit.

Part number 23-270 at your local radioshack. Sells for 14.99. Good luck. And make sure you charge the new battery for 8-12 hours.
