Programming how d I program the remote for my tv? I cant for the life of me remember and Ive lost my book. I need to know the steps for the search code.

I have quantum fx rem 115 jumbo universal remote, I lost the manual. How can we program our durabrand tv

Hi! Since you did not indicate the brand and model number of the remote control you are using, I will just give you the basic steps in searching for the code and programming a universal remote control.

1. Manually turn ON your TV.
2. Press and "HOLD" CODE SEARCH
3. Press and release the TV button. The TV button will flash once.
4. Release CODE SEARCH.
5. Press OFF/ON repeatedly until the TV turns off (you may have to press up to 100 times at a rate of once per second).
6. Once the TV turns off, press and release ENTER.
7. With the device on, press any other button. If the device responds, no further programming is required. If the device does not respond, repeat steps 1-6.

4. Enter the 3-digit code number.
5. Release "CODE SEARCH".
6. With the device on, press another button to test. If it does not work, repeat steps 1 thorugh 5.

Code Search:

1. Turn on the device you wish to control.
2. Press and hold "CODE SEARCH".
3. Press and release the TV, VCR or Cable button. If programming an AUX position, press and release AUX first and then press the device type to be programmed.
4. Release "CODE SEARCH".
5. Press ON/OFF repeatedly until the device turns off. You may have to do this up to 100 times.
6. When the device shuts off press and release ENTER.
7. Try using the remote. If it does not function repeat steps 1 through 6.

i need to program my radio shack 3 in 1 remote but lost the instructions

1. Find codes for each device and brand below.

hi i have a philips universal a rca tv and a dvd named lennox sound 2003 i want to program the dvd with the remote please help no codes lost

Here is the manual. It helped with all devices but my magnavox cd. The codes in the book did not work, nor did the search method. The tv and the vcr search worked. Good Luck, Dan

I can not remember the nu mbers to program in the TV for the remote. I can turn on the VCR but not the TV. I know it is somehting simple like s ymbol/2 or 4/tv but it has not been working
