Why does my sony KDS 55A2020 seem like the picture is green looking? How can i get the TV back to the original picture?

Unplug,replug the tv back about an hours later.All the tv settings,will return back to the tv original factory settings.

This symptom of weak lamp that has reached its end of working life and will be dead/ broke any time.
If lamp has not been replaced in tv since last 2-3 years then it is time for new lamp in tv to fix this issue. lamp replacement procedure is easy and written in user manual.
Please buy Sony original lamp for good quality picture.

I have the same problem. Can a bad lamp cause the sound to go out?

sounds like the optical block. call sony cause its under extended warranty til 12/31/10 regardless of purchase date. i just had to call for mine (same tv) and they called tech in area and its all in the works now at no cost to me service call parts and labor included. no argueing with sony or anything!!!

When I was reading the instructions for this tv, It was saying if the projection bulb is reaching the end of its life you will get strange color changes. You can also reset your settings in the setting section. Go to your menu and go to settings and them picture. You can reset your picture to factory settings in this menu. Now you can reset in different modes also. You have to be in these modes to set factory settings. These are Vivid, Standard and Custom. Take a look. You can go to sony and it tells you haw to do all of this. You punch in your TV type and you can go into the instructions. I learned how to change my projection lamp.

HAS THE LAMP EVER BEEN REPLACED IF NOT COULD BE PROBLEM. iT IS OWNER REPLACABLE.

Please check color temperature adjustment in menu and also check white balance adjustment.

bulb is dirty remove and clean if it persists replace bulb.
