Hello, I have a Frigidaire Dishwasher, model FDB750RCC1. It will not fully drain. There is water in the bottom of the unit after the cycle is complete. As it is not full of water or leaking out of the unit when I open the door I am suspecting it is the pump that has broken? (the water must be draining to the overflow point and then stopping as there is nothing pumping it) Any thoughts or ideas for me anyone? Am I on the right track?

On the drain hose at the connection to the dishwasher there is a one way check valve. If debris has gotten trapped water will drain back into the dishwasher at the end of cycle
Hope this helps.

Remove the connection and clear.

SOURCE: Dishwasher not pumping the water out?

hi
the larger motor housing underneath the unit is what moves the water around to wash, the smaller pump is the drain pump, if you don't hear that running it is likely in need of replacement. check your paper work for warranty, if it's out of warranty try to find a deal online and it's relatively easy to replace

Check the input to the drain hose to make sure it is not blocked by something like a cherry pit.  That could cause the water to not drain fully.

SOURCE: Frigidaire Dishwasher won't drain

Try cleaning out the drain line behind the dishwasher, this is a very common problem with draining. If not that then might need a valve or if you have a new garbage disposal you need to punch out a peice of the plastic or it wont drain. Hope this helped, good luck

Excessive amount of drain hose on dishwarsher cause a drain problem

Hello Leonard, thank you for your post!
I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher has two gallons of water left inside of the tub. I would recommend checking the drain hose to assure it is not clogged and installed properly. The glass trap may need to be cleaned out and you can locate that under the bottom rack. If you continue to experience issues with your dishwasher please reply back for further assistance. -Matt

Leaks

Hello Emmitt White - Try unplugging the dishwasher or flipping the household circuit breaker off first. Wait approximately ten minutes and turn the unit back on. If the issue persists, it could possibly be a few things: faulty door switch, drain pump or main control board. In that case, a certified technician would generally replace the faulty part after proper diagnosis.

Leaking intake valve on frigidaire ultraquiet III, model: FDB750RCC1

Hello Dan Wetmore - Do you notice if the dishwasher have deflectors installed in the bottom left and right corners of the tub gasket channel? If so, confirmed that they are properly installed and present. In case that it is not, they may possibly need replacing. However, keep in mind that the springs or hinges may possibly be damaged, gasket not sealing properly or the leak could possibly be coming from the drain motor/pump (which would be more cost effective to repair). I would strongly suggest contacting a professional to move forward accurately.
