Oven fan oveen fan comes on when bake or convectin bake on and won't go off until oven cool.

sounds like ur oven sensor to me check with a multi meter

I understand that you have a fan running while you are baking. This is a totally normal function of your applliance. A cooling fan may automatically turn on and off to cool internal parts. It is normal, and the fan may continue to run even after oven is turned off.

Most wall ovens have a cooling fan that comes on when the oven has been on for some time. It is separate from the convection operation. It should shut off after the oven has been off for a time.

Children's Chocolate Cake Mix
1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup vegetable shortening
In a medium bowl, combine sugar, cocoa powder, flour, baking soda and salt. Stir with a wire whisk until blended. With a pastry blender, cut in shortening until evenly distributed and mixture resembles corn meal. Spoon about 1/3 cup of the mixture into each of 11 small containers with tight fitting lids or Ziploc bags. Seal containers. Label with date and contents. Store in a cool dry place. To Use:
1 package cake mix
4 tsp. water
Mix together and stir with a fork or spoon until blended and smooth. Pour mixture into greased and floured 4 inch round miniature baking pan. Follow directions for child's oven, or bake in mom's preheated 375* oven for 12 to 13 minutes. Remove from oven and cool in pan on a rack for 5 minutes.
Invert onto a small plate and remove pan. When cool, frost with Children's Chocolate Frosting. Serves 2 children.

There is a fan for cooling down whole oven, it can turn on and off during the regular bake or broil cycle to cool down the oven on the outside. It's controlled by its own thermostat, so it will even stay on for awhile when you turn the bake off.

What is staying on? If you are hearing a fan staying on, don't worry about it. Some ovens have a cooling fan that continues to run until the oven cools down below a certain temperature.

What youre experiencing could be a result of a faulty oven temperature sensor, a faulty oven control board or relay board. Youre more than welcome to send both the main control board and relay board for evaluation. sounds like the fan or motor is not working at all. have a technician replace it.

if you talking about you convectin fan you proably have a stuck realy in the control bd and will need to replace it

3 to 4 hours is a long time. Get to the fans (behind the control panel) and check the screens for dust. Chances are the screens are clogged with dust and need to be cleaned so the fans can move air for cooling better. I had this problem on my GE JTP14, and after cleaning just one fan it can keep up with cooling the electronic area while the oven is running. It runs much less often.

Safety first! cut the breaker before removing anything with a nice conductive screwdriver! Hope this helps!
